Jumpstart Nova’s Kathryne Cooper was featured in Pitchbook’s 83 Black founders and Investors to Know in 2024 List.

A community-generated list, it celebrates black leaders and innovators who are making impacts in their communities, industries, and beyond.

Pitchbook shares, “Just 3% of US venture capital partners are Black, according to a survey by NVCA and Deloitte. It’s no secret that Black investors and other investors of color are unrepresented at firms across the US. The ones on our list are pushing back on the industry’s homogenous makeup now, while simultaneously opening the door for the Black investors of the future.”
